Nicknamed "Moses," a suitable moniker earned from the frisson-filled escapades she led, Harriet Tubman's story encapsulates 'The Patriot.'
After freeing herself from captivity in 1849, Tubman continued to risk her own life -- repeatedly trekking, the dangerous and often wintry conditions she familiarized herself with, back to free other fellow Americans. She was able to continue this mission in 1862 by enlisting in The War effort, becoming a key spy for the Union and helping to free over 1,000 captives.
